Why does Prigmar say my social account needs to be reconnected, and how do I fix a token refresh error?

That message means your social channel's access token expired. Platforms hand these tokens out with a time limit, and once one lapses, Prigmar can't post or pull data for that account anymore. It's a security move on the platform's end, not a problem with your account.
Here's how to fix it:
1. Open Settings, then Connections.
2. Find the account flagged "reconnect."
3. Click Reconnect and log in to that platform.
4. Approve the permissions Prigmar asks for.
5. Make sure the status turns green before you close.
It takes about 2 minutes. Your agents pick up right where they left off, including any posts queued on your schedule.
Two things keep tokens from breaking again:
- Reconnect after you change that platform's password. A password change usually voids the old token.
- Leave Prigmar's permissions in place. Pulling access on the platform side throws the same error.
Once you're reconnected, every agent is back in your voice. So if you were in the middle of figuring out how to write a newsletter with ai, the newsletter agent picks the draft back up the moment the link is live.
Every agent comes with a 7 day free trial, so you can test reconnecting and posting before you pay.
