If you flip to approve mode, nothing leaves the queue until you say so. To pause one and check where it stands: 1. Open the agent that handles the channel, like social media or newsletters. 2. Find the item in the queue and switch it to hold. It will not publish on schedule. 3. Check the stage label. You see whether it is drafted, waiting on your approval, or ready to send. 4. Edit or reject it right there. Rejecting sends it back, not out. 5. Release the hold when you are ready. It goes back on the schedule.
